12 Feb Banana and Orange Smoothie
We all want our kids to grow up strong and healthy, so try our Banana and Orange Smoothie. Smoothie’s are a great way to get children to eat a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables every day. They love the taste of a creamy smoothie naturally sweetened by fruit, especially in this summer heat.
If you are also in the habit of freezing your ripe fruit for cooking, smoothies are also a great way to use these up. The frozen fruit helps make the smoothie thick and cool when blended directly into your smoothie. Once your children like the fruit smoothies you can begin to experiment with adding vegetables too.
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1 Orange
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Chia Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Natural Yoghurt
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for 1 minute (thermomix speed 8).
- Fill your Zestio Pouches.
- Chia seeds are optional but a healthy additive to your smoothie.
